There is something special about the women-led revolution in hip-hop we are experiencing (2021).

Throughout the genre’s existence, hip-hop has always centered on the art of anecdote recital, its artistic storytelling at its highest form, however much like any artistic format, it has always been a male-dominated circle. But In today’s current space, hip-hop has undertaken a women’s renaissance, one where women now dominate the trends, have taken over the headlines, and have created a culture within the genre where one could say that hip-hop has undergone a women’s resurgence.
